Awards and Recognition
The Arkansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics honors individuals who have advanced the dietetics profession, have exhibited leadership, and have shown devotion to serving others in dietetics. These honors recognize outstanding food and nutrition practitioners and supporters of the profession. Award winners will be recognized at the Annual Meeting and Exhibits for ArAND and listed in a Fall issue of the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
We are happy to announce the opening of our 2025 Awards Season! The Arkansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics honors individuals who have advanced the dietetics profession, have exhibited leadership, and have shown devotion to serving others in dietetics. You may now submit nominations for the following awards by March 15th, 2025:
- Outstanding Dietitian of the Year
- Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year
- Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year
- Outstanding Dietetic Student (4 options)
- Outstanding Dietetics Educator - Awarded by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Award nominations and supporting materials are due no later than March 15th, 2025. Self-nominations are accepted and require a recommendation letter from someone other than the nominator. Winners will be announced at the 2025 Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Fort Smith on April 10th, 2025.
