According to their website- " The purpose of TexasBeef. info is to provide scientific information on nutrition and health to health professionals, educators, and consumers.
They offer a variety of educational brochures and downloads that give guidance to following the Dietary Guidelines not just for beef but including fruits and vegetables. They have numerous colorful and well designed handouts that can be downloaded to use with patients or clients and would be very useful in a classroom setting. Hard copies will only be sent to Texas addresses. There is a link to Spanish educational materials also. Finally, this site offers a list of approved CPE courses, most related to beef and protein but some that address family mealtime. PowerPoint slides are available to use for presentations.
