Doris Boykin Cassidy, RD
Doris is currently employed at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR as the Associate Medical Center Director. She began working for the VA in 1960 as a dietitian and was promoted over the past 50 years to her current position. Doris is a native of Texarkana, AR. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas and completed her Dietetic Internship at Vanderbilt University. Doris has been a member of ADA and ArDA from 1960 to present. She has received several awards including Fayetteville Women in History Award (2010), Commendation from Inspector General (1995), Community Leaders of America for Outstanding Service to Health Care (1990), Woman of the Year for the City of Fayetteville (1987), Federal Woman of the Year for VA Medical Center (1985, 1986), and the Washington County Farm Family of the Year (1985).
